For the thought you keep replaying
Overthinking feels like working on the problem. Mostly it's the same three thoughts in a different order. Pausa gets them out of your head and shows you what they keep circling.
Free to start on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

It starts as a reasonable question. What did they mean by that? Should I have said something? By midnight you've run every version of the conversation, including several that never happened, and you're no closer to an answer.
Inside your head the loop feels new every time. On the page it's obviously the same loop, with the same turns and the same place where it gets stuck.
Pausa reads what you write across days and weeks and names the loop: what you keep coming back to, and the question underneath it that you haven't answered.
What that looks like
Can't stop thinking about what Priya said in the meeting. Was she annoyed with me? Should I message her? I keep going over it and getting nowhere.
This is the fourth late-night entry about whether someone is annoyed with you. None of them say what happened next, because in each case, nothing did.
An illustration. Pausa only works from what you write, so it gets sharper the more you do.
How it works
When the loop starts, wherever you are. Get it out of your head in a voice note.
One entry is just a bad day, but the same ending six times is a pattern. Pausa reads all of them, not just today's.
Plainly, in a sentence or two. No streaks, no scores, and no pep talk when your own words say otherwise.
We'd rather lose you as a user than waste your time.
