By accessing or using Pausa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Pausa is an AI-powered journaling application available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The Service provides features including journaling, AI-generated insights, recaps, and coaching powered by artificial intelligence.

You must create an account to use Pausa. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain full ownership of all content you create within Pausa, including journal entries. By using the Service, you grant Pausa a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service's features (such as AI-powered insights and recaps).

Pausa uses artificial intelligence to generate insights, recaps, and coaching responses. AI-generated content is provided for informational and reflective purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Pausa offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are governed by Apple's terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or abuse others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Pausa does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate for any specific purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pausa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
