Your entries travel between your device and our servers over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, and are stored on Microsoft Azure's secured infrastructure.
No Advertising Profiling
Your journal content is never used for advertising, and we never track you across other apps. Your thoughts remain untainted by commercial influence.
Anonymized Data for App Improvement
Any analytics we use to improve the app rely on aggregated, anonymized usage data, things like how often a feature is used, never the content of your entries.
Full User Control
You have control over your data within Pausa, with options to export or delete your journal entries whenever you choose.
Integration with OpenAI for AI-Powered Features
To power features like recaps, insights, and coaching, your entries are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. Importantly, OpenAI does not use data submitted through our API to train their models or enhance their services, unlike a consumer AI chatbot, your reflections are never added to a chat history or used as training data.
Secure Hosting on Microsoft Azure
We use Microsoft Azure for reliable and secure hosting, ensuring the integrity and availability of your journal data.
Dependable Storage with MongoDB
Your entries are securely stored in MongoDB, a database known for its robust security and reliability, safeguarding your data against unauthorized access or loss.
