For saying yes when you meant no
One favor at a time, your calendar fills with other people's priorities. Pausa reads your entries and shows you where the yeses go, and what you keep giving up for them.
Free to start on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

It never feels like a big decision. A quick favor, a meeting you could skip, a weekend you'd rather keep. Saying no would take a conversation and saying yes takes a second. So you say yes, then you're resentful, then you feel bad about being resentful.
Each yes makes sense on its own. Together they make a pattern: the same people asking, the same reasons you can't refuse, the same things of yours that quietly fall off the list.
Write about the yeses for a few weeks. Pausa reads them together and tells you what you're trading, and for whom, so the next one is a choice.
What that looks like
Said yes to covering Jen's presentation even though my own deadline is Friday. Couldn't think of a good reason to say no. Now I'm up until 1am again.
This is the sixth yes this month that cost you a night. You never write that you wanted to help. You write that you couldn't think of a reason to say no.
An illustration. Pausa only works from what you write, so it gets sharper the more you do.
How it works
Right after the yes you didn't mean. What you agreed to, and what it will cost.
One entry is just a bad day, but the same ending six times is a pattern. Pausa reads all of them, not just today's.
Plainly, in a sentence or two. No streaks, no scores, and no pep talk when your own words say otherwise.
We'd rather lose you as a user than waste your time.
