For relationships that keep ending the same way
Different people, same dynamic. The friend who takes too much, the partner who pulls away, the boss you can never please. Pausa reads your entries and shows you the part that travels with you.
Free to start on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

At some point you notice the plot is familiar. You end up as the one who does all the planning, or the one who apologizes first, or the one who leaves before they can leave you. The cast changes and the role doesn't.
It's hard to see from inside any single relationship, because each one comes with its own good reasons. It's much easier across a year of entries, where the same sentence turns up about three different people.
Pausa reads those entries together and names the role you keep playing. What you do with it is up to you, but at least you'll be choosing it.
What that looks like
Planned the whole weekend for the group again and nobody even said thanks. Why am I always the one who has to hold everything together?
You've described yourself as “the one who holds it together” about your friends, your sister and your last two partners. In each case, you also write that nobody asked you to.
An illustration. Pausa only works from what you write, so it gets sharper the more you do.
How it works
After the moment that felt familiar. Write what happened and who it reminded you of.
One entry is just a bad day, but the same ending six times is a pattern. Pausa reads all of them, not just today's.
Plainly, in a sentence or two. No streaks, no scores, and no pep talk when your own words say otherwise.
We'd rather lose you as a user than waste your time.
