For after a separation
The story about what they did is easy to tell. The part you brought is harder to see, and it's the part that comes with you into the next relationship. Pausa helps you find it.
Free to start on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

By now you have the version you tell friends. It's true, mostly. It also leaves out the things you did that you'd rather not look at, the ones you'd recognize if a friend described them.
Those show up in your own writing anyway. The fight you describe the same way each time. The thing you stopped saying in year three. The way the new person you are texting already sounds a little familiar.
Pausa reads across your entries and names what repeats, without taking sides. It's the conversation you'd need a very honest friend for, available when you can actually take it.
What that looks like
Signed the papers today. Keep replaying the last year. I gave everything to that marriage and got nothing back. Started talking to someone new, which feels fast.
You've written “I gave everything” in six entries. In four of them, you also mention something you needed and never asked for.
An illustration. Pausa only works from what you write, so it gets sharper the more you do.
How it works
When the replay starts, usually at night. Write the version you'd never tell your friends.
One entry is just a bad day, but the same ending six times is a pattern. Pausa reads all of them, not just today's.
Plainly, in a sentence or two. No streaks, no scores, and no pep talk when your own words say otherwise.
We'd rather lose you as a user than waste your time.
Pausa is a journal, not therapy, and doesn't replace professional care.
