Honeycomb Introduces AI-Native Observability Suite for Developers
Sep 25, 2025
Honeycomb launched Honeycomb Intelligence, an AI-native observability suite for anomaly detection and faster developer investigations.

Honeycomb, a leading software observability platform, has unveiled a suite of artificial intelligence-powered products aimed at enhancing the efficiency of developers. Launched on Thursday, the new offering, named Honeycomb Intelligence, equips developers with tools to identify performance issues, conduct faster investigations, and collaborate in real-time.
Integrating AI with Observability Tools
The Honeycomb Intelligence suite integrates observability features into AI-assisted integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Cursor and Claude Code. It also includes an AI-guided workspace for visual investigations and a system capable of detecting anomalies in service performance. According to the company, its proprietary database enables sub-second query responses across billions of events, which is essential for real-time AI assistance.
The suite features three distinct products:
Honeycomb MCP Server: This product accelerates debugging and code delivery by embedding Honeycomb's observability model into AI-powered IDEs like Cursor and Claude Code. It allows developers to investigate issues, run BubbleUp analysis, and visualize key data through heatmaps and histograms - all without leaving their workflow.
Honeycomb Canvas: An AI-guided workspace, Honeycomb Canvas combines natural language interaction with interactive visualizations. Developers can ask questions, conduct multi-step investigations, and share insights seamlessly with teammates through Honeycomb or platforms like Slack.
Honeycomb Anomaly Detection: Designed as an early warning system for service health, this tool identifies deviations in service behavior, helping teams address potential issues before customers are affected. The system reduces false positives and alleviates alert fatigue.
Adoption by Industry Leaders
Early adopters of the Honeycomb Intelligence suite include prominent organizations such as Slack, HelloFresh, Duolingo, and Intercom. Honeycomb has made these tools available to all customers at no additional cost, further expanding their accessibility.
Industry Collaborations
The release of Honeycomb Intelligence follows the company's participation as a launch partner in Amazon Web Services' newly introduced AI Agents and Tools category. Honeycomb has also collaborated with Anthropic on its Usage and Cost API, showcasing its commitment to integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into its platform.
Honeycomb's latest innovations aim to redefine how developers approach observability by leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline workflows and enhance system reliability.
